I wonder why they're lowering the turn count for PoL. It feels like with fewer rounds you could get screwed over more easily by the RNG not giving you the units you need for max scoring.

How many orbs on average does it take to +10 the 4* on their debut banner?

...Not that I have anywhere enough to even think about it(Also lol RED). Gives me another unit to look forward to(As I pull yet another Henry).

Including the 4 tickets we get, about 390 Orbs for a 50% chance to reach +10. 475 Orbs for a 75% chance. I assume you won't use the Spark on a 4* Focus unit.

As an aside, Red, Blue and Colourless units all cost about the same to pull these days. Green is still the cheapest, though.

It's a recent change to the Summoning pool. They added a second "off-focus" 5* unit pool for older 5* units. It's 3% at base and was caved out of the original 4* rate. They don't count as drawing a real 5* unit so it still contributed towards building pity rate rather than reducing it.

I guess it's been a while since I've last played it but I would think SMRPG largely stands the test of time. It's simple but fun and the story should still hold up. Since the Timed Hits system never really took off it doesn't feel overdone even 25 years later.

eren just got eaten an episode or two ago. if this holds, that's pretty awesome. he was unbearable, and it's a pretty surprising killing of a typical protagonist. unfortunately, his friend, who appears to be the new protagonist, is also unbearable.

Nintendo is just too strong over there. Almost half of the Top 16 is Nintendo despite some Nintendo characters getting offed by other Nintendo characters. Mario being able to SFF older non-Nintendo characters doesn't help things either.

Looks like Ryu did beat Fox making Ryu one of the few non-Nintendo characters to beat a Nintendo character. We're pretty close to being able to hold the Top 8 in a single SSBU match but Tony Hawk might be too strong.

Nephenee is the first unit to show up on a Double Special Hero Banner twice. Older Special Heroes have shown up on the banners before but they were slightly older than Nephenee so they never got a first run on a DSH banner.

Red is without a doubt the main character of Pokemon Red/Blue. Even in Yellow you can box Pikachu and never look back. Pokemon's story isn't particularly deep or anything but Red is very clearly the main character of it. It's his journey to become the best and fill out the Pokedex.

Almost no one wants KOS-MOS specifically as a Xenoblade 2 representative. Like her fans won't really complain if that loophole is played but that's not really the reason they want her in. The competition isn't over being a Xenoblade 2 representative. The competition is over the fact it is unlikely that there will both be a Xenosaga and Xenoblade character as part of FP2.

Especially in the case of something like Kos-mos who most players won't even see.

Pokemon does it all the time. Main characters are almost always chosen because they are also the best choice for the first representative. But, for the cases where they aren't, they can be passed over.

In the case of KOS-MOS, she also has Xenosaga not just her small appearance in Xenoblade 2. If there was going to be a character added from Xenosaga, it would be KOS-MOS because she makes the most sense.

Attack on Titan Season 4 spoilers (not past where you are)
Eren only has a few years left until he dies. So they could wait until around the deadline before Armin has to eat Eren to combine all the Titans. But I'm not sure there's much point to this since there aren't any known special powers unlocked by collecting them all. It's just the Founding Titan that has all the busted abilities (if they were usable).

I'm not sure if it was ever brought up when happens if one person collects them all. People largely only seem really interested in the Founding Titan as the one that rules them all. The other Titans are just kinda nice to have if you need to beat something up.

Eren is both the Attack Titan and the Founding Titan. Hange makes fun of Eren when Eren says "Attack Titan" out loud and says it is the name of Eren's Titan. It is possible to have more than one at once.

I liked the characters and story but I wasn't that much of a fan of what it replaced the escape rooms with. A lot of the funny scenes are gated behind wrong answers so the game punishes you (sometimes severely) for trying to see them.

IIRC from the Kickstarter campaign they went out of their way to make it clear that they are trying avoid the pitfall of overextending to more platforms than they can handle. Reality doesn't always match the ideal but it does seem like they want to make sure that each version is done right.

There are plenty of examples of the 2nd place CYL winner being way better than the 1st place- see Brave Veronica, who was exceptional compared to Brave Celica

Yeah, 1st place isn't a guarantee that the unit is better or the unique skill is even useful. But, it still feels safer to be in first than second.
